Island tour by bike (6 hours)

Description

Ready to explore São Vicente island, but in an active way? Than the bike tour is thé activity for you! Ride up the hills of Mindelo city to great look out points on the harbour and visit local neighbourhoods on the way out of town. Follow the curvy mountain road inland along the agriculture valley of Calhau. Rusty windmills, rough lands and tropical plants are all part of the adventure. Lunch is served in the fishermen's village of Calhau. Continue along the scenery road of Praia Grande before driving back to the city. The total distance is 42 kilometers. Note that most of the track has cobble stone roads and can be bumpy. This activity requires a fit physical condition.
